We are often asked by families "How do I meet other families?" or "How can I learn more about what is going at school?" Our answer is, "volunteer when and where you can." PTA is one of many avenues to learn about volunteer opportunities throughout the school year. Volunteering organically connects you to other families and school staff. Below is a (non-exhaustive) list of volunteer opportunities. Email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to get connected!

Students participate in learning experiences in leadership and opportunities to practice the citizenship skills necessary for effective participation in society. The principal goals of the SCA are to: instill American ideals, including the development of leadership and citizenship, among the youth of today; assist all student councils in becoming more effective organizations within their school, community, state and nation; promote student participation within the school and its community; assist student councils and their leadership in focusing on relevant current problems that affect them and encouraging them to seek solutions to those problems.
